Worship Poem

Here is a new poem from yesterday:

Amazing Grace

Amazing Grace how sweet the sound
Of shackles and chains that hit the ground
As the guilty verdict is handed down
While the mercy of Grace still abounds

It’s forgiveness for guilt that I can’t be earning
Unfathomable freedom forever I’m learning
Religion removed, now my heart’s burning
Share time with the Savior for whom I’m yearning

Reciprocal love, I’m forever receiving
All faith in the One in whom I’m believing
It’s not law over Grace, no more deceiving
It’s Grace over law. THAT I’m not leaving

Amazing Grace, Grace amazing indeed
Sinners saved, captives freed
For it is in His word that I read
Christ alone is all I need

Nehemiah 9:31
31 Nevertheless in Your great mercy You did not utterly consume them nor forsake them; For You are God, gracious and merciful.
